The Silent Treatment
A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment. Suddenly, the man realized that the next day,he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business flight.
Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, 'Please wake me at 5:00 AM ' He left it where he knew she would find it.The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go andsee why his wife hadn't wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed. The paper said, 'It is 5:00 AM. Wake up.' Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests.
WIFE VS. HUSBAND
A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word.
An earlier discussion had led to an argument and
neither of them wanted to concede their position.
As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs,
the husband asked sarcastically, 'Relatives of yours?'
'Yep,' the wife replied , ' in-laws'

'Cash, check or charge?' I asked, after folding items the woman wished to purchase.
As she fumbled for her wallet I noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse. 'So, do you always carry your TV remote?' I asked.'No,' she replied, ' but my husband refused to come shopping with me,
and I figured this was the most evil thing I could do to him legally.'

The husband said, ' You are in charge of cooking around here and
you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my coffee.'
Wife replies, 'No, you should do it, and besides, it is in the Bible
that the man should do the coffee.'
Husband replies, 'I can't believe that, show me.'
So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament
and showed him at the top of several pages, that it indeed says ..........'HEBREWS'
God may have created man before woman,

Monday 14 July 2008, My big boss treated our whole team to lunch at Laguna National.
Tuesday 15 July 2008, Rowena treated me 'Yuan Yang' hehe.
Wednesday 16 July 2008, one of my colleague; Rommel treated the team to Soul Garden because he was converted from Agency Contract to Perm staff.
Friday 18 July 2008, we had a Goodwood durian feast. One of my colleague bought this durian puff. Nice...
I bought for myself below. A sweet reward lol. And of course I bought a 1kg durian cake and 20 durian puffs with hazelnut for dear's and my family to eat.
Sunday 20 July 2008, went out with my flowers and bought this for myself. Long waited white heels. Sorry Charles and Keith I really wanted to buy that pair of shoes but it's too expensive for me. i can buy 2 MORE shoes for the price of your one haha.
Tuesday 22 July 2008, it was Rommel's birthday and Louise bought all of us muffins from Hans. Sorry I ate the cheese one before I was able to take photos below is chocolate chips and some nuts thingy. And I ate 2 (one cheese and one chocolate chips oops). Happy Birthday Rommel we were really sorry for not able to buy real cake as we were all VERY BUSY. =S

Another week had passed, a week that was indeed challenging for me. My beloved was unfortunately hospitalized last Sunday due to sharp pain in his gastric. It happened when we were about to go out for dinner with his parents. Seeing him in pain really hurts me a lot. Knowing that I can’t do anything but just to be there make me feel so helpless. Fortunately, God was with me (and always is). I kept praying in my heart that He will take away the pain or at least make the pain still bearable for him.
That night, I accompanied him to take jab, X-ray etc. Seeing him like that make me feel… Oh well anyway that night I left the hospital having his dad to send me home.
The next day, I went to the hospital to see him straight after work. Thanks to Dorcas, Mel, Joel and Brendan for accompanying him during the afternoon. Work had been quite ok for the first day but still bit tiring though.
I met up with Edmund and went to see my dear and Li Ping came after that. After the entire visitation, his dad sent him home again. I just pray that God will take great care of him.
The entire week was tiring mentally and physically. However, I just wanna thank God for the strength for His grace.

Oh yeah after lunch I am there once again recommending my colleagues to subscribe the FJ discount card. And this is what Marnie and I said, if you save 50 cents a day, $2.50 a week, $10 a month, you WILL SAVE $120 A YEAR!~ Oh my gosh haha. Although we don’t eat there every day but THIS IS HOW MUCH YOU CAN SAVE WHEN YOU PURCHASE THAT $2 DISCOUNT CARD. =)
Then we headed to Popular as Marnie needs to buy the BIG SQUARED notebook for her kid to write Chinese hehe. Rowena too buy a notebook to keep her child’s progression. SWEET MUMMIES!~ And guess what I helped them save 86 cents in all haha feel SO GOOD!~ Cause dear’s Popular card is put into good used as I decided to RENEW so as to BLESS.
Oh ya, Rommel my other colleague also went to Popular to buy CDs for his child, my team is filled with GREAT parents in short, and I helped him SAVE $5.99 wahaha and of course now and then they need it. I JUST FEEL SO GOOD.
Anyway after buying stuffs from Popular, Rowena treated Marnie and I to STARBUCKS COFFEE!~ We had a great time together chatting. =)
However I learnt about something and felt kinda cheated haiz. Felt awful so I went home early today. I guess it’s time for me to take a rest before moving on…

Of course that’s NOT ALL FOR MY BLESSINGS… I always leave the BEST last wahaha. 好料在后头。=) On weekend of first week of July, dear and I went to Hokkaido fair and we had a nice time shopping and eating. He bought a really nice biscuit for my family. =) Then we tried the Japanese crepe at the basement and it’s not bad also. We ate takoyaki and did some shopping before going back to his house.
When we were shopping, I felt really 高兴 when he keeps asking me what I want. I think he is really enjoying buying things for me hehe. But well, this week he didn’t cause I don’t want as there’s isn’t anything I REALLY LIKE. Not even the shoes that I thought IT WAS REALLY NICE at Charles and Keith, ya after taking a close look. Although a little part of me still wants but I guess I should not waste such money.
For dinner this week, we had it at White Sands the Wan Chai Hong Kong Café. If you ever been there you will know why I LOVE IT SO MUCH!~ Dear and I shared the Curry Chicken Baked Rice with CHEESE and it was YUMMY!~ 简直太好吃了！I WANNA GO THERE AGAIN!~ Not only that I also like the dessert. IT IS JUST VERY NICE!~
After that wonderful dinner, his mum and I accompanied him to the interchange then we went to Tampines mall to shop since there isn’t any goldsmith that his mum wants shop. At Tampines mall after shopping a few goldsmith, we ended up at POH HENG!~ Wahaha I guess you must be guessing what I am being blessed again le ba.
OH YESH!~ I WAS BLESSED WITH MY FIRST 21st BIRTHDAY PRESENT. WONDERFUL!~ His mum was literally bringing me around to find something I like so she can buy for me. MY GOSH SO LOVED SO LOVED!~ THANK YOU AUNTIE!~
Anyway now you should know why I AM BLESSED and WAS BLESSED ALL THE WAY UP le ba. Hehe.

Well how should I start? I guess I shall back track a little. On the 2 Mondays 23 June and 30 June. I was once again blessed with lunch by my boss Tony. =) On the first Monday, we had lunch meeting and we had SUBWAY!~ Hehe. I love the COOKIE hehe well a bit not right but the sandwich is just far too big for me to finish.
Then on the second Monday, we also had lunch meeting since it will be a weekly thing for our team. We managed to have an hour meeting and the whole team except Marnie(resting at home) went Ramen Ten for lunch. I would say it’s not too bad being the first time there.
Then on the first day of July every lady from the Teck Huat (our big boss team) received a rose on their desk. =) It was a surprising sweet thing to see early in the morning. Just heard that it was the second time he did that. It was a very nice gesture to encourage the staffs also haha. Sorry guys. From this I guess no lady would not like to receive flowers; at least for me may be also it is at the office my mum won’t nag haha and another thing is not how long the flower can last but it that very moment when you received it that makes it different. Anyway that’s about the flower thingy.
Next, on the second day of July, we got MUFFINS from Famous Amos from boss Louise and we ate it as dinner my gosh it is BIG and FILLING. It will be nicer if you eat it warm. =) 
But of course for almost everything that you are blessed by your boss, for ONE thing YOU KNOW FOR SURE is that YOU MUST WORK EVEN HARDER!~ Haha. And yes I have been working really hard; going home at 09:30pm was a norm thing for me now. It will be really BLESSED if I got to go home at 06:30pm which hardly possible unless I sneak away haha (which is quite impossible as it is not showing a good example also haha).
